Homebirth Services
What We Offer
Our pregnancy and homebirth service fee is $6500 (plus tax) and includes:
Regular prenatal care (Prenatal appointments will be scheduled 1 visit each month until 32 weeks of pregnancy, then every other week until 36 weeks when weekly visits begin until the birth.)
Each visit is scheduled for 60 minutes in length and typically includes discussion of normal pregnancy changes and discomforts, nutritional counseling, fetal development, clinical assessment of maternal and fetal well-being, informed choice for various prenatal screenings, and discussion of birth plans.
24-hour availability of the midwife on call for emergencies throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period.
One prenatal home visit at around 36 weeks of pregnancy.
On-call availability for births after 37 weeks.
Birth services at home, including waterbirth and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean)
Newborn examination and care
Breastfeeding support
Five visits in your home at 24-48 hours, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 4 weeks postpartum
One office visit at 6 weeks postpartum
The fee does not include lab testing, ultrasounds, birth supplies, consultations or visits with other healthcare providers.
We offer payment plans, pre-payment discounts, and sliding fees for those with a financial need.
Most NM Medicaid plans accepted.
We will travel outside of Albuquerque but there will be an added $300 travel fee for clients living over 60 miles away up to 80 miles. Over 80-140 miles, the fee is $1200
